Interesting post Sharon. I’m at the stage in life where minor health issues are cropping up. I have a real appetite for beer (and stronger drink – which I resist) but common sense is telling me to stop drinking for good. A slightly different situation than yours but the social pressures are probably the same. “What’s the matter with you? Have a beeeerrrrrrr…..!” etc. It’s tiring.

Hi Sharon,
As I had had my share of wine last weekend, I was wondering what I said? I can think of many things I would find hard to give up, and even though I do enjoy a glass of wine once in a while, I would not be sad to give it up. Dinner is just as fun without it, and you usually feel better the next day. I often go without a glass of wine at many social gatherings, and almost have to fight off the well intended hosts to stop them pouring me a glass Love the website/blog/submissions….
