		<description><![CDATA[I got a kick out of the column on beauty pageants. I entered the Queen of the Sea contest in Lunenburg. It was lots of fun. i didn&#039;t win but I got a nice dress and had to write a speech. The girl who did win was a very poised and articulate girl. We all entered. My 6 foot 2 friend up the street and the very plump girl on the corner participated. It was a rite of passage in a small town. Not so terrible really.]]></description>
